Roasted masala green peas is a best healthy snack for evening. it is very easy and quick snack, although very tasty recipe, which is made by boiled green peas & spices. Fresh peas are often eaten boiled and flavored with butter.
Salt and pepper are also commonly added to peas when they served. peas are used in fried dishes, such as fried rice, pulao, biryani, paneer curry, peas rice.. etc.
Generally fried masala peas are selling in packets, coated with masala & sour flavors. I have added lemon juice to get sour flavor. you can add amchur powder instead of lemon juice. also you can add chat masala powder if you do not want to add u can skip this step.
you can boil peas in pressure cooker by adding required water, or any other pot. if you use check frequently after 10 minutes of cooking whether peas cooked fully.

Boiling green peas :
Step 1 Take one bowl of fresh green peas, & wash them to remove dust particles.
Step 2 In a pot add washed green peas and add required water to pot, put it on the medium flame, also close lid to boil till the green peas becomes soft.
Step 3 Once peas becomes soft, remove from the flame, although let them cool for a while.
Frying peas :
Step 1 Now take a pan, add one spoon ghee, let it heat for a while, and then adjust the flame on low to medium flame.
Step 2 Add 1/2 spoon cumin seeds, & 1/4 spoon mustard seeds, slowly seeds begin to splutter.
Step 3 Add 1 spoon ginger garlic paste, sauté it for 20 - 30 seconds, you can also use finely chopped garlic and ginger.
Step 4 Then add boiled green peas, combine them till oil coated every pea.
Step 5 Now add 2 spoons of red chili powder, salt as required, one spoon coriander powder, 1/2 spoon garam masala. (mixed spices powder), 1/2 spoon zeera powder optional. then mix well till peas coated with spices.
Step 6 Finally squeeze some lemon juice. serve Roasted masala green peas quickly & enjoy.

1 Firstly in a vessel or pot, take one bowl of green peas. if want more quantity you can take more bowls of green peas.
2 Then peas for one time and Add required water to the vessel.do not add less amount of water, they will not become soft. add water as required to cook them fully.
3 Close lid and boil till they become soft, and peas cooked fully. and adjust the flame to medium.
4 Once done check whether Peas boiled well. check by pressing them.
5 If they cooked fully then Transfer them to other bowl, and keep them aside.
6 Take fry pan, put the pan on the flame and add 1 spoon of ghee. wait for a minute it will melt,.
7 Add 1/2 spoon cumin seeds, 1/2 spoon mustard seeds, wait till begin to splutter. then add ginger garlic paste one spoon and sauté till 30 seconds then it will release raw smell.
8 Now add boiled green peas to the pan and sauté for 2 minutes.
9 Then, Add 2 spoons red chili powder, and salt as required, garam masala 1/2 spoon, 1/2 spoon coriander powder, combine them.
10 After 1-2 minutes, turn off the flame, finally squeeze one spoon lemon juice, and combine once. then serve Roasted masala green peas quickly

1 Green peas - 1 bowl
2 Water - required for boil
3 Ghee - 1 spoon
4 Cumin seeds - 1/2 spoon
5 Mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon
6 Coriander powder - 1/2 spoon
7 Garam masala - 1/2 spoon
8 salt - required to taste
9 Red chili powder - 2 small spoons

How to make Roasted masala green peas :
- Take one bowl fresh green peas, wash them for one time.
- In a pot add washed green peas and add required water. put on the medium flame, close lid boil till peas becomes soft.
- Once peas becomes soft, turn off the flame, & let them cool.
- Now take a pan, add one spoon ghee, and put it on the flame let it heat and adjust the flame on low to medium flame.
- Then, Add 1/2 spoon cumin seeds, 1/4 spoon mustard seeds, seeds begin to splutter with in a minute.
- Add 1 spoon ginger garlic paste, sauté till it release raw smell, you can also use finely chopped garlic and ginger directly. if you add paste it will stick to the pan slightly.
- Then add boiled green peas, combine them once and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Now add 2 spoons red chili powder, salt as required, one spoon coriander powder, 1/2 spoon garam masala. (mixed spices powder), 1/2 spoon zeera powder optional. then mix well till peas coated with spices.
- Finally squeeze one spoon lemon juice, and combine once, then serve Roasted masala green peas snacks quickly.
