Aloo paratha recipe perfect punjabi method : Aloo paratha recipe is a breakfast dish originated from the Punjab region in India, in Indian food recipes The recipe is one of the most popular breakfast throughout the India.
Aloo parathas consist of wheat flour dough rolled with a mixture of mashed potato and spices, which is cooked on a hot tawa with butter or ghee. Aloo paratha is usually served with butter, chutney, or any other Indian pickles.
This is one of favorite dish everyone, and it has become part of our regular dish for breakfast. perhaps it takes long time to prepare but Aloo paratha recipe is a delicious breakfast.
It has prepared with ghee only, so you can serve without ghee also, serve Aloo paratha with any chutney like mint or mango.
I used to eat only plain paratha which is also has good taste, I have been prepare this often more, & even I given detailed Aloo paratha recipe below, as you can follow as it is and make delicious Aloo paratha recipe perfect Punjabi method at your home.

How to make Aloo paratha recipe perfect Punjabi method :
Preparing dough :
Step 1 We need to take 2 bowls of wheat flour, sieve flour then add pinch of salt to flour.
Step 2 Add 2 small spoons of oil, then add water gradually, knead it to make soft dough like chapati dough.
Step 3 Rest this dough for at least 15- 20 minutes. for that keep it aside.
Making aloo stuff :
Step 1 Take 2 medium sized potatoes, place them in vessel or cooker and add required water to boil, put on the flame & boil.
Step 2 Once done, let them cool by adding normal water. then peel the potatoes gently & mash them to smooth paste.
Step 3 Place this paste in mixing bowl & required salt to mashed potatoes, 2 tea spoons of red chili powder, 3-4 chopped green chilies, 1 spoon coriander powder, 1/2 spoon turmeric powder,
Furthermore, add 1 spoon crushed carom seeds, 1 spoon ginger garlic paste, 2 spoons lemon juice, and few finely chopped coriander leaves.
Step 4 Combine all of them till the flavors are combined well, now potato stuff is ready to make paratha, then make lemon size balls in same size with this potato stuff.
Making aloo paratha :
Step 1 Take lemon sized dough from prepared dough, which we prepared earlier.
Step 2 Dust floor before you start rolling chapati to roll it easily. dip dough into flour once, start to roll thick sheet evenly in a round shape.
Step 3 Then place potato stuffed ball in rolled sheet, hence bring edges together on top by pressing stuff. if you get extra dough remove it, other wise close top portion by pressing with fingers.
Step 4 Furthermore, flatten dough gently, that will help us to roll easily.
Step 5 Dust floor and start rolling in a round shape, if stuff leaked or comes out little bit, then add some dry flour to cover stuff, then gently roll it in round shape as much as possible, & Prepare all paratha in a same method.
Roasting paratha :
Step 1 Heat pan to roast paratha & add ghee or oil to pan, I prefer ghee, because using ghee makes paratha more tasty.
Step 2 Then place paratha on hot pan and add ghee on top of the paratha, roast it on low - medium flame. once it get roasted one side then flip it to other side to roast. then it will begin to puff, also it will get brown spots on top of the layer to ensure paratha roasted well.
Step 3 Serve this Aloo paratha with mint chutney, mango pickle or raita then enjoy delicious aloo paratha, roast two side evenly. next transfer to serving plate.

Step 1 Firstly, take 2 bowls of wheat flour, add pinch of salt & 2 spoons of (ghee) or oil.
Step 2 Add water gradually, knead it to make soft dough like chapati dough.

Step 4 Boil two medium sized potatoes, once done with boiling, let them cool by adding cool water. furthermore peel the potatoes & mash them.
Step 5 Add salt to taste to mashed potatoes.
Step 6 Red chili powder 2 spoons, add ginger garlic paste one spoon.
Step 7 Furthermore, add 1 spoon coriander powder, 1 spoon crushed carom seeds, 3-4 chopped green chilies, 2 spoons lemon juice, few coriander leaves, 1/2 spoon turmeric powder.
Step 8 Combine all, make lemon size balls with this stuff.
Step 9 Take lemon size dough, and dust floor to roll easily. then start rolling in round sheet as thick sheet.
Step 10 Then place prepared aloo stuff in sheet.
Step 11 Bring edges to top to join..
Step 13 Then close it by pressing on joined top portion.
Step 14 Flatten it gently, hence start rolling as much as possible.
Step 15 Heat pan and add ghee, then place paratha on hot pan.
Step 17 Once roasted one side, flip it to other side to roast, also add ghee on other side. slowly its begin to puff, although brown spots appear over paratha, make sure paratha roasted two sides.
Step 18 Now aloo paratha recipe perfect Punjabi method is ready to serve, serve with mint chutney or raita.

1 Wheat flour - 2 bowls
2 Salt - as required
3 Oil - 2 spoons
4 Potatoes - 2
6 Carom seeds - 1 spoon
