Easy semiya payasm dessert is a sweet dish and is a one type of dessert, also most popular dessert in India, usually made by milk, sugar and roasted semiya. It is typically flavored with dry fruits & cardamom powder.
This recipe mostly served as a dessert. usually served after the meal as a dessert, and is a very easy and quick dessert which we can prepare in short time during festivals, and small ceremonies.
It is also called as vermicelli kheer, which is prepare often when we celebrate special days. I have made this with whole milk without water, because it taste more delicious. But you can also add required water to it
Easy semiya payasm dessert has two methods as you can make it with water or without water, if enough milk not available at home. I personally like without water as I did same in recipe.

How to make Easy semiya payasm dessert :
Method -1 for Easy semiya payasm dessert :
Firstly take 3 cups of water for 1 cup of milk or 2 cups water for 2 cups milk. even it would be fine for taste.
Actually you can boil semiya in water in first step, by adding required water to semiya quantity that you want to take. in a vessel pour 3 cups of water and let the water heat for a while.
Add one cup semiya to the hot water in vessel and cook till they become fully soft & cooked. Once semiya becomes soft then you need to add required sugar to it. add 3/4 cup sugar & combine gently. it will dissolve with water slowly.
Once sugar get dissolved in water, pour one cup milk or more if required. and add 1/4 spoon cardamom powder to it then cook for 3-4 minutes & combine with them gently.
Finally remove from the flame & garnish with fried dry fruits like cashews, almonds, raisins. once done with this step, serve this Easy semiya payasm dessert quickly & enjoy.
Method -2 for Easy semiya payasm dessert :
Frying dry fruits :
Step 1 Firstly, in a pan add one spoon ghee, put the pan on the flame and let it heat on low flame.
Step 2 Add one spoon cashew nuts, one spoon almond, one spoon raisins (kishmish), chironji seeds, (Sara pappu).then fry them on low flame till get changed color slightly to light golden brown color, then transfer them to bowl. keep them aside.
Making Easy semiya payasm dessert :
Step 1 In a same pan add 3 cups milk, if you don't have sufficient milk, you can also add one cup milk, 2 cups water instead. adding only milk gives extra taste to payasam. it would be more thick.
Step 2 Add one bowl sugar to milk, stir till sugar get dissolve in milk. keep the flame on medium.
Step 3 Add one bowl roasted semiya (Vermicelli), roasted semiya packets are available in market. we can directly add them to milk. and mix well. then add 1/2 spoon cardamom powder.
Step 4 Let semiya cook on medium flame till semiya cooked fully. once semiya fully cooked, syrup becomes thick, also semiya becomes soft.
Step 5 Then add fried dry fruits in payasam & mix once then remove from the flame, serve this tasty easy semiya payasm dessert after meal & enjoy.

1 In a pan add one spoon ghee.

9 Check whether fully cooked, and syrup becomes thick.
10 Add roasted dry fruits. mix once and turn off the flame.

2 roasted semiya - 1 cup
3 Cashew nuts - one spoon
4 Almond - one spoon
