Wheat flour punugulu recipe :
Making punugulu batter :
Step 1 Take one bowl wheat flour, in a mixing bowl. add half bowl finely chopped onions to flour, add few curry leaves, 3-4 finely chopped green chilies.
Step 2 Add one spoon of cumin seeds, pinch of cooking soda, required salt, and one spoon ginger garlic paste. Furthermore add 1/4 bowl curd then combine all of them.
Step 3 Add water gradually to make batter. do not make too thin batter. it should be like soft pakora bajji batter.
Frying punugulu :
Step 1 put fry pan on the flame for deep fry, & add required oil for deep fry and let it heat till hot enough.
Step 2 Once oil ready for deep fry, slid small lemon size batter into hot oil. keep the flame on low to medium. & do not keep the flame on high because bonda would not cook inside.
Step 3 Fry them till get golden brown color, & flip punugulu to fry evenly. Once they get golden brown color, transfer them to a serving bowl.
Step 4 Serve with onion tomato chutney or groundnut chutney. just enjoy crispy &tasty punugulu

Given below step by step :
1 In a mixing bowl add one bowl wheat flour. sieve flour before you add, and half bowl finely chopped onions.
2 Add 3-4 finely chopped green chilies, add few curry leaves.
3 Add one spoon cumin seeds, pinch of cooking soda, required salt, one spoon ginger garlic paste.
4 Add 1/4 bowl curd, combine all with curd.
5 Add water gradually, to make batter. we have already added curd to flour, so we do not need more water.
6 Make soft batter, like bajji batter, check consistency of batter, it should not be too thin. because it will absorb more oil.
8 Fry till get golden brown color. on low- medium flame, do not fry on high flame, because it will get fry on out side in short time, but inside will not cook properly. also absorb more oil. and flip them to fry evenly.
9 Then, transfer to tissue paper firstly, it will absorb oil remaining. and then transfer to serving bowl.
10 Serve this wheat flour punugulu with your favorite chutney. such as ground nut chutney or onion tomato chutney, or coconut chutney.
