Home made cabbage pakora recipe is a simple snack in India which were served for snacks at evening tea time. is prepared by grated cabbage, onions, spices, besan / gram flour, and rice flour. adding rice flour to gram flour helps us to get crispy pakora.
This recipe preparation is very easy, almost same like a onion pakora & taste will be slight difference because it has cabbage flavor. totally is a combination of cabbage & onion.
Mostly prepared during rainy season and winter as well, every one prefer this recipe during rainy season. Even I would love to prepare Home made cabbage pakora recipe at rainy season & winter.
In this recipe no need to add water to flour, because we will get enough wetness from cabbage. you should squeeze grated cabbage while making pakora batter. I haven't used water to make batter.

Home made cabbage pakora recipe :
Preparing grated cabbage :
Step 1 Take one cabbage and peel out layer & wash for one time. then cut into middle to make half part, so that it would become easy to grate. now grate cabbage about one bowl.
If you want to make more quantity of pakora, you can grate accordingly. once done with this step keep grated cabbage aside.
Making pakora batter :
Step 1 In a mixing bowl add one bowl of grated cabbage and one finely sliced onion.
Step 2 In a same bowl add half spoon of turmeric powder and 2-3 spoons of red chili powder. add red chili powder as per your taste.
Step 3 Furthermore, add one spoon ginger garlic paste, salt as required, and one and half spoon of crushed carom seeds.
Step 4 Add 1/4 bowl rice flour to bowl, sieve flour before you add. and one bowl besan (gram flour). (sieve)
Step 5 Combine all, squeeze flour to make pakora batter. here no need to add water. because by squeezing cabbage, and onions, you will get enough water from them to make pakora batter.
Step 6 Batter should be like onion pakora batter. once batter ready keep aside.
Frying cabbage pakora :
Step 1 Take a large fry pan, & add required oil for deep fry. let it heat till it becomes hot enough. you can drop small amount of batter into oil to check whether the oil ready to fry, if the batter comes out quickly that ensure the oil is ready.
Step 2 Once oil ready for deep fry, keep the flame on low- medium. then slid pakora one by one in hot oil.
Step 3 Flip to other side to fry evenly, fry till they get golden brown color. once they reach to golden brown color, transfer them to a serving bowl & enjoy Home made cabbage pakora

1 Firstly, in a mixing bowl, add one bowl of grated cabbage.
2 Add one finely chopped onion. chop onion like slices, do not chop into small square shape.
3 Add half spoon turmeric powder, 2 spoons red chili powder. if you want more spicy add one more spoon according to your taste.
4 Add salt to taste, one spoon ginger garlic paste.
5 Add half spoon crushed carom seeds. you can add directly carom seeds without crushing.
6 Add 1/4 bowl rice flour.
7 Add one bowl besan (gram flour).
8 Combine all, squeeze to make pakora batter, (no need to add water).
9 Heat oil for deep fry, once oil becomes hot enough, slid pakora one by one in hot oil.
10 Fry pakora on low to medium flame. and fry evenly till they get golden brown color.
11 Once done, transfer them to serving bowl.
12 Enjoy home made cabbage pakora at evening snacks time.

1 Rice flour - 1/4 bowl
2 Besan - 1 bowl
3 Carom seeds - half spoon
4 Turmeric powder - half spoon
5 Salt - as required
6 Ginger garlic paste - one spoon
7 Red chili powder - 2 spoons
8 Grated cabbage - 1 bowl
9 Chopped onion - one
10 Oil - required for deep fry

How to make Home made cabbage pakora recipe :
- Take one cabbage and peel out layer then wash it. and cut into middle to half part, grate cabbage. then keep aside.
