How to make Veg sandwich recipe home made :
Preparing mint chutney :
1 Initially, prepare mint chutney ( green chutney), for applying over bread. in a jar add hand full mint leaves, hand full coriander leaves, & 1-2 green chilies, salt to taste.
2 Grind to smooth paste & keep aside. here in this sandwich I have not used mint chutney for applying over bread.
Because there are several methods to prepare sandwich, here I have used tomato sauce. instead of green chutney. you can also apply butter over mint chutney.
Veg sandwich recipe :
1 Take vegetables like tomatoes, onions, carrots, potatoes, cucumber. wash them once make thin slices.
Also, peel potatoes & cucumber before making slices.
2 Take one bread slice, apply mint chutney or tomato sauce as your wish. & you can also add butter if you have used mint chutney.
Apply one side of the bread, & apply on another bread as well.
3 Now, place sliced tomatoes, and then potatoes over tomatoes, now spread some pepper powder, add salt to pepper powder before you spreading over slices.
And then, place remaining vegetables over potatoes. cucumber, carrot is optional ,lastly onions and place cheese slice or grated cheese. (here cheese is also optional),
you can make cheese sandwich or with out cheese. cheese helps to get extra taste to sandwich. Now again spread some pepper powder. & close with another bread slice. press over it slightly. to stickup.
Cooking Veg sandwich recipe home made :
4 Now heat tawa, here I have done with out sandwich maker or grill, I have used tawa to cook sandwich.
Apply, ghee over tawa & let it heat for a while. once it has become hot enough, then adjust the flame on medium. & place vegetables filled bread over tawa.
Cook 2-3 minutes one side, till it get golden brown color & gently flip to cook other side as same color.
Ingredients :
1 Bread slices
2 Vegetables like onions, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots.
3 Mint leaves & coriander leaves
4 green chili
5 Pepper powder
6 salt
7 tomato sauce
8 butter
9 ghee
10 Cheese (optional )

1 Apply tomato sauce or green chutney over bread slices, I have used tomato sauce.
2 Place tomatoes over bread.
3 And then place potato slices, and spread some pepper powder.
4 Place other vegetables like cucumber & onions. if you would like to add cheese you can add and spread some pepper powder over it. then close with another bread slice.
5 Apply ghee over tawa & wait till hot enough, once tawa is ready to cook, place bread slices & cook 2-3 minutes on low medium flame. once done with one side flip to cook other side.
6 Now sandwich cooked well
7 Make two portions of sandwich. serve this when its hot.
